Head of Food Technology, Hospitality & Catering

Full Time (Part time considered) | Permanent

Wrotham School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, creative and highly motivated Head of Food Technology, Hospitality & Catering to lead and develop this important curriculum area from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to shape a dynamic department and inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have a passion for high-quality teaching and learning, strong subject knowledge, and the vision to further develop an engaging and inclusive curriculum that equips students with practical skills, creativity and an understanding of healthy living and the hospitality industry.

The successful applicant will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of securing strong student outcomes
Have the ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues within the department
Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills
Be committed to raising aspirations and supporting all students to achieve their full potential
Have the enthusiasm and drive to contribute to the wider life of the school
