Location: Borough Green, Sevenoaks
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Closing Date: 17th May 2026
Lead with vision. Inspire through numbers. Shape futures with Maths.
We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Head of Mathematics to lead our Maths department and help drive excellence across our non-selective secondary school in Kent.
This is a particularly exciting time to join us. From the academic year 2026/27, our school will move into a stunning new building, providing bright, modern classrooms and outstanding resources. With this fresh start ahead, we are ready to take our Maths provision to the next level – and we need an inspiring leader to guide us.
As Head of Maths, you will have the chance to shape the curriculum, nurture a talented team, and build a culture where every student feels confident and capable in Mathematics. Whether it’s preparing students for success in exams or helping them see the beauty of numbers in everyday life, your leadership will make a lasting impact.
We also believe that great leaders thrive when they have balance, which is why we offer flexible working arrangements. Whether you’re looking for a full-time position or need some adaptability in your working week, we’ll work with you to create the right fit.
Why lead Maths with us?

An ambitious leader ready to inspire staff and students alike.
A creative and strategic thinker, with a clear vision for Maths education.
A commitment to inclusion, high standards, and student progress at every level.
