About the Role
As Head of Music, you will:
Lead and develop a high-quality, engaging music curriculum across all key stages
Inspire students of all abilities through innovative teaching and outstanding classroom practice
Build and sustain a rich programme of extracurricular music, including ensembles, concerts, and performances
Manage and support the development of the music department, including resources and staff
Foster strong links with the wider community, including partnerships and performance opportunities
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a passionate and skilled music educator with a strong subject knowledge
Has the leadership qualities to motivate staff and students alike
Brings creativity, ambition, and a commitment to excellence
Has experience (or readiness) to lead a department and drive improvement
Believes in the power of music to enrich lives and build confidence
